Rediscover the magic of quiet moments. Kids will love hearing Marije Tolman’s captivating bedtime story Quill the Forest Keeper which will be read by her translator David Colmer.

Long, long ago it was so busy,

Nobody had time to stop for a moment.

Everything and everyone had to be higher,

faster, further, bigger, prettier, more!

An illustrator, author and designer, Marije Tolman’s studio is in a hidden courtyard in the middle of the old city center of The Hague. Every project is an expedition, in search of the right atmosphere and purpose. David Colmer has translated the work of many authors, including Gerbrand Bakker and Annie M.G. Schmidt. His awards include the IMPAC Dublin Literary Award and PEN Translation Prize.
